I just gotta' say,,,,,I put one of Tom Bradshaw's Dunlop pots in one of my Goodrich 120 pedals and man o' man,,,,what a great difference it made,,,,,WOW! and double WOW!, WOW!!!!
It is so smooth and the taper is just perfect. Even the tone of "Bugger Red", my D-10 '71 PP Emmons, as good as it was already, has really come to life and completely overwhelmed me with the added body and fulness of the single notes, harmony notes and full chords of either neck.
When I compared it to my other 120 (which had an Allen Bradley in it), it didn't take me five minutes to put another Dunlop pot in it also.
I compared it a friend's new Hilton and as good as it sounded, I liked the Tom Bradshaw Dunlop pot better.
All you "pot" guys and gals, do youself a huge favor and get in touch with Tom and put one of these babies in your volume pedal.

I'm glad you finally saw the light, Bro. Bobby.

No doubt at all, those are the best replacement pots available.

I don't see how it could sound different (except for maybe a different taper and different scratchiness while you move it).

Doug,
I can't explain,,,,I don't know much about electronics,,,,I just know that it really sweetened up my sound. All the guys in the band noticed it right off.

They are a 470K pot. I sent two to Wayne Dahl and he felt the same as Bobby. Wayne has got a very discriminating ear. He can hear things I could only hope to recognize!!!

Like Bobby said, The Dunlop pot's are the way to go.
I've tried the PEC pot and the electronic pedals., For my money the Dunlop is it. Wayne

I agree. The Dunlop is state of the art for steel, but I have to wonder how many out there have wired in capacitance across terminals to manage low freq response throughout the pedal throw.

Comments welcome.

I guess I should have asked:
a) What value was in there to begin with?
b) What is the new value?
