I am sure that a lot of you are aware of the great product offered by Tom Bradshaw called the “Tab Rack”. If not: http://www.songwriter.com/bradshaw/tab_rack.php
Up until now they were not available for Session model Sierra’s since they don’t have round legs. Session model Sierra’s have rectangular ¾” x 1” legs that will not work with the bracket since they only attach to round legs.
A new model is available now made just for Session Sierra’s and I wanted to review it so all you Sierra people would know about it.
The clamp that is used is an elegantly simple design that firmly holds on to the leg of the guitar. To install it you must slip the clamp onto the leg from the side (Picture 1) and then rotate it until it “snaps” on to the leg and is oriented the correct way. (Picture 2)
Same thing for the other side and the simply set the Tab Rack in Place. (Picture 3) The clamp itself is made from PVC and I have installed and removed them on my guitar several times. The PVC will not scratch the leg at all and rivets are done in such a way that they are not going to scratch either.
This thing holds a ridiculous amount of material as you can see in the last picture. I don’t keep this much stuff on mine but I loaded it up just so you can see what a great accessory this is to have in your practice room. This thing blows a conventional music stand away!
As I said it is just becoming available now so if you go and look on the site you probably won’t see the Sierra Session version pictured just yet but contact Tom (a truly great guy to do business with by the way) for pricing and availability. He also has other great stuff like Dunlop pots, etc. so check out the whole site.

Thanks Chris. I like this guitar more and more the longer I have it. It plays great and has way more tone than most give it credit for.

I don;t play a Sierra. I have the regular version of Tom's rack, and I must say that I find it extremely useful. Much more so than a conventional music stand, partly because of it's width, and partly because it is attached to the steel.

I'm in the process of arranging versions of some of the things I recorded, to be played live. and have several pieces of sheet music on Tom's rack as I write this.

I'm very pleased with this product.
