I'm considering getting a dobro and saw this on craigslist. He will take $185, no case. Is this a fair price or too much?

thanks, Ron

I changed my mind on this one.

I noticed the few on ebay didn't include a case. I could always get a soft case. How much would a hard case cost?

Looking at the pictures it appears to be a roundneck instrument. I don't know if you're aware of that. If your plan is to play it lap style you might want to wait until you find a squareneck. Otherwise you'd need to use a nut extender.

I wouldn't mind adding a nut. The one from Rondo is 25" scale. Are all the dobros longer than 22.5?
