Well I just got these pictures from Jeff at Show Pro. The pictures are my new guitar that Jeff is building for me. This is a custom guitar that Jeff took on for me and he is doing a great job on the guitar. If you ever need a guitar build just the way you want it then Jeff is your guy. This guitar is custom only in the size of it. It was not a standard body size that Jeff does but without hesitation he said we can do that. He advertises custom guitars and that is what he does and does it well and with a smile. Well done Jeff.

Charlie

Wow Charlie. It is beautiful!
The sunburst finish is very striking for sure.
Charlie you mention it is a custom size can you tell us in what way?
Congrats on a beautiful guitar!

Just jaw-dropping, Charlie. A big congrats to you.

You realize I'll be gigging this guitar if you bring it to my house in August. Wink

Well Pete the only thing that I changed was the front ot back size. It is not a double body nor is it a single body. I gave Jeff the measurements when my wife and I were in Nashville to see Jeff and he talked with John and they said well OK we can do that and they did not try to talk me out of doing it. So that being said Jigs for end plates could not be used and I'm not sure if any Jigs are used for the body if so well you get the idea. Once again Jeff just kept saying what ever you want we build CUSTOM GUITARS here and he has proved that to me hands down and has kept me up to date all along as well.

Charlie,Looks like yours and mine should be finished around the same time.Mine is in the same stage as yours.I have pics and I'm trying very hard to resist the temptation of posting them now as opposed to posting them when it's finished. Can't hardly wait to get it.BTW thats a beautiful guitar.

Doesn't this type of 'burst resemble Lloyd Green's 60's Fingertip? I saw a pic one time of him playing that guitar, and it looked to be a similar colour combo.

Jeff Surratt builds a great custom made steel guitar. Classic vintage tone and looks and outstanding customer service by Jeff and Gloria. Alot of the Nashville insiders are snapping these beauties up. Jeff knows how to build them.
