Congrats, Gary. You've got yet another looooooong month till you get your new horn.

I'm sure it will be worth the wait.

I noticed you said "We can hardly wait". It's nice to have a supportive spouse, isn't it?

Gary,
The wait will be forgotten when you have the pleasure of sitting behind it!

Emmons were on time with my delivery also.

Enjoy!

GP did you get that counterforce thingy on yours, I am really not sure of the point of them, I understand it is to help with cabinet drop, but it is a very interesting thing.

Well, today is the big day. Congratulations Gary. A J, the purpose of the counterforce is to eliminate any and all cabinet drop. The fact that Gary is getting a LeGrande III does mean that it will at least have the counterforce on one neck, almost certainly it will be on the E9th if not both. The LeGrande III is a LeGrande II with the counterforce which makes it a III.

Gary, you will love your new Emmons. I picked up my "new to me" LeGrande II yesterday. the playability is amazing. so smooth, the pedal action, the knees, EVERYTHING. These guitars are a sure bet IMHO. I'll post a pic of mine when i get home. Hope you like yours Gary!

I talked to Rebecca last week, and she said there are 15 new Emmons that will be ready to ship the week of July 4, and they're making cases right now.

My guitar is one of the 15. Whee!

It's a black (natch) SD-10 with 4 and 5. It will be my first new PSG.

I'll post pics of the new baby when she arrives.

My wait will be 67 weeks tomorrow.

:D Thanks Cliff . You are so right about the Sho~Bud and Emmons . Two of the most famous steel guitar names in the business in my opinion ! There are other great steels also and there is no question about that . I just happen to be on this end of the guitar world !
