in case some of you are wondering about the

behringer dr-400 unit its a darn good unit!!

it stands up very well to boss rv-3

in every way!! at less than half the cost

it dont have the metal case but who cares?

I would suggest to get the wal wart #psu-sb

and to me the sound is cleaner than the rv-3
I was told the noise level was higer than rv-3
but not so in my case if you get one and want my settings email me or ill post here if thers any interest

just passing along info Mike Very Happy

Please pass your settings along to me.

I am using the Lloyd Green RV-3 settings. They took some minor tweaking...but they sound GREAT!!!

Are these units presently available?... I have checked all the major instrument suppliers and no one seems to stock them as yet.

A lot of the major internet and store chains won't carry Behringer stompboxes, even though they're Behringer dealers. They'd much rather you buy a reissue Ibanez Tube Sceamer or Maxon OD808 for $150 - $170, better yet a boutique screamy clone for $250...

the original 4558 opamp and the legendary MA150 distortion diodes.

I recently bought a "sterile", "robotic" Behringer DD400 (off Ebay) for my tabletop quadraphonic/looping/Frankenstein/nightmare project, it works O.K. You don't want loops to get "warm" and natural - AKA "mushy." I wouldn't put ANY plastic box on the floor and stomp on it, unless I didn't like it.... Devil
