That's a nice website, except they keep spelling steel guitar "steele". Now, I don't usually get on people's cases about spelling (except my son) but let's get "steel guitar" at least spelled right, eh?

Kirk there's an annual Bob Wills' Reunion in Turkey Texas the last sunday of April or there has been for the last several years. I would suppose there would be this year. The Playboys are usually present and play the gig. Could that be what you are referring to?

The proposed Western Swing event for Tyler, Texas has been cancelled.
Further information regarding this can be found at ronwhitt@prodigy.net
It is my understanding that the recent Western Swing event in Tyler, Texas did not have good results.
There is one scheduled in central Texas in May l think.

| You're right, I had the town wrong. It is Turkey Texas. I grew up on Bob Wills since my Dad's band played almost everything they ever did. I'm hooked on the legend of Western Swing. Thanks guys! Kirk |
