For those of you that will be attending the Lexington steel show, I will have a table there with a few things to see. I am bringing a few guitars and playing my 65' ZB on my set. I will have a couple of rebuilds there along with one that is about halfway finished and also a ZB that is being built out of NOS parts.
I will also have my new CD available there at the show. I used 5 diff. guitars on this one. Mullen, ZB Custom and a Fender 1000.
Please stop by and say "hello" and let's talk steels!!! I would like to meet all of the forumites attending!!!
If you decide to throw tomatoes at me on my set, please take them out of the cans first!!!
See Ya!!!

I'll see you there Greg. I hope your dad comes too so that he's not overrun by the kids (one of mine) at the Athens Holloween event.

Greg you sounded great on your set & your Zb sounded as good as any of the steels on the show.

Greg, thanks for appearing on the show. You and the band did a great set. Enjoyed your CD on the drive back home. Thanks for your reference in the liner notes. |

Greg,
I just wanted to add my compliments to Fred's. Great music! With tributes to Haggard, Moon and Don Rich, I'm seeing a Bakersfield connection.
I know it means a lot to your dad that you've become such an accomplished steel player, as it was at his urging you stopped trying to bend those 6-strings and got with the real deal.
I've met a few players whose dads always seem to be there to support them at each show. I'm probably leaving some out, but the short list that comes to mind includes you and Walter, Jerry and Peter Burak, and Paul Franklin Sr. and Jr.
I'm sure there are more and that many great steelers have outlived their supportive parents.
