Hi All,

I know how much we like YouTube. Here is a link to C/Net on how to capture these videos to your computer.

I needed to capture a 13 minute segment of CBS's 60 Minutes from April 20th.

I bought a suite of software, the WMRecorder 12 set (available for download from the publisher), for $90, that includes the "on the fly" capture, and a real good conversion program. It records the .flv while you watch. You don't even have to wait 'till the end of the video to interrupt and catch the next one, once the file has finished transferring, you can go to the next video you want to save.

Last night I snagged all eleven of Bobbe's lessons.

I don't know if I'm ready for three finger picks yet Smile

The Techcrunch site works great, and I downloaded in the VLC player, which also works fine. Thanks for this!

One question - is there a free player that will enable slowing down of the video? I'd love to have that feature for instructional purposes.

Thanks
Bill

I can't find the slow-down feature on the VLC that I downloaded. How do I access it?

Unfortunately, I'm using VLC on Windows and there is no Playback menu. Have looked at all the other menus, no slow down feature is listed.

Thanks Ed.

With a little trial and error I figured it out. It involves clicking on the fast forward button to increase the speed, then backing it off by clicking the fast reverse. Pretty much just makes fast forward/reverse quicker.
