from an LTH press release-email:
inviting you to a
swell swell show:
FRIDAY OCTOBER 4
Last Train Home @ the State Theatre
220 N. Washington Blvd., just at the intersection of Washington and Broad
St.
Falls Church, VA
703-237-0300
http://www.thestatetheatre.com/
With openers June Star and Little Pink.
REASONS TO COME TO THIS SHOW:
** LTH is headlining the State Theatre for the first time. The last two
times we were there we opened for the amazing Iguanas, and we've been eager
to headline our own show there ever since, and here we are! We're on from
10:30 p.m. (sharp) 'til however long we can keep it up! It'll be a good
long show.
** If you just can't take the crowds at IOTA, then this is the joint for
you. It holds 800 people with a big open dance floor space, and a balcony
that seats 200, so you can rest your weary bones and still get a great view
of the madness below.
** Little Pink (9:30 - 10:15) is one of the best new bands in town, led by
songwriter extraordinaire Mary Battiata ( http://www.littlepinktheband.com/
... do not go to littlepink. com !!!)
** June Star (8:30 - 9:15) are good pals of ours, based in Northern
Maryland, and they play dark, cool roots rock ( http://www.junestar.com/ )
** LTH will be playing some new songs, and Eric just might be wearing his
rhinestone suit.
