I need a lift kit for my pedal rods, but the one inch is too long. I realize these are just threaded couplers, but can`t find 1/2 or 3/4". I need 10-32 for Fulawka, same as Sho-bud I think. any ideas ? Thanks.

Steve, if the problem you're having is your right knee is hitting the guitar because of the volume pedal, I had the same problem with a guitar and I put a piece of 1/2 inch board under the front and back leggs on the pickup end and that fixed my problem without having the guitar tilted forward.

Try McMaster-Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/ and look for M-F standoffs or F-F standoffs, also called F-F threaded spacers. They have a lot of odd sizes. I only found the 1/4" diameter standoffs in the F-F version there. All the 10-32 M-F standoffs there seem to be 3/8" or 1/2" diameter now.

With the F-F standoffs, you also need 10-32 set screws. I just did a bunch of guitars with 3" and 4" lift kits, and found the inexpensive 3/4" black-finish steel ones just great, but YMMV on the length with the smaller standoffs. The smaller set screws (3/4" and smaller) seem to all come in packs of 100, but they're pretty inexpensive. I did so many guitars that I've already run through a bunch of them, and still have a few to go. This was about the only way I could afford to do all these long liftkits.

I'll tell you what - raising these guitars way up like this sure makes 'em way, way more comfortable for me. The guitars fit like a glove now. I am done trying to force myself to fit the guitar. Nothing but backaches and trouble.

Steve...Check out www.fastenal.com. When you bring up the website, look at the index on the right side. Under the topic "Nuts", click on "See More Nuts" (now I hope the jokes don't start on this one), this brings up all the nut subcategories. Click on "Coupling Nuts". Once this screen appears, there will be some boxes. On thread size, click on "32", then this will bring up various lengths, etc.
