The only thing better than doing what you love is having someone that loves you enough to let you do it.

Here's my '78 Super Pro.Pretty much as it came from the factory.I'm the second owner. The first was a woman who bought it to learn on and gave it up.I gigged it some, but not much, then went to a U-12,so it's something of a time capsule.

New member here. Have been working on learning console for a few years, and attended the PSG Symposium put on by UNC Chapel Hill this past spring. It was so interesting that I started scouring CL for a decent affordable PSG. Was able to find this one in eastern TN in June, after a couple of price reductions. It is dinged up but functions well and sounds wonderful. Checked the serial number in July and learned that it was built in July 1973 (Lordy Lordy, this Sho-Bud's 40!). It is a Pro II with rounded front, two-hole pullers, teardrop KL's, and a changer with pins to mount the strings to.
Image
Similar finish and rope inlay as the beautiful LDG above. What's unusual about this guitar is the white version of the star fretboard (for church players, I believe). Other photos of the star fretboard that I've seen on the Forum have been the black version.
Image
Been having lots of fun learning new stuff that one needs to know to get started with PSG (thanks to Mark Van Allen's By The Numbers CD set, plus Mike Perlowin's book on Music Theory in the real World). The harmonized scale is such an eye opener!

The Pro ll, serial #14895 was built in July, 1979. It was stolen many years ago but I keep hoping I will find it someday. The LDG serial #17844 was built in November, 1982. J.R. Rose Near Muskogee, OK.

This is my factory custom D10/12 bought earlier this year. Looks like a cousin the ones above. Rope inlay on the necks, gumby headstocks, but straight knee levers (I may change them out for teardrops). Super Pro undercarriage and changer. LOVE this guitar.
