That is a beautiful guitar Benard. And keyless, only way to play. Those guys at BMI do a great job of building. Congradulations on a great choice.

Hey Bernard, that is a really nice looking guitar! I love the finish on it. Plus, I noticed that it is keyless!

I bet it sounds sweet!

Congratulations Bernard, good choice.
I got my new BMI S12 last yr, same inlay as that - people are always coming up to me at gigs saying how pretty the guitar is.
They have a great sound too - clear and sweet!! Enjoy it.

Go well,
Damien

Hey Bernard!
That's a great looking guitar you've got there. Don and the guys at BMI are great folks to do business with. I've had nothing but good luck with mine.
Here's my 1981 double 12/8 and 6. Still going strong!

Welcome to the family!!

Hey Bernard, that's one beautiful BMI for sure. Congrats on your new guitar......Here's a shot of my old S-12 with 8 & 4. I redid the front of mine myself, it used to be black mica........JH in Va.

Great to see those BMIs.
I'm getting used to mine, there is a lot of work for me cause sofar I only played Dobro (6 str, G high bass mainly) and 8 str lap,
C6 : High to low G,E,C,A,G,E,C,A ;
or E7+6 : E,Csharp,B,Gsharp,E,D,B,E.
I chose the Zane Beck tuning cause it looked to me like a very natural extension of the E7+6.
Dan has been putting ZB tuning lessons on the www.beckmusicalinstruments.com site. Very helpful for a beginner like me.
Also, you see my guitar has 6 pedals insted of 4, which is standard for ZBtuning.
Well, in order to have an instrument which I could use straight away with my C6 or E7+6 licks, I have pedal 6 which gives me the top 5 strings of my C6 tuning on strings 2 to 6 of the BMI, and pedal 5 which gives me my E7+6 tuning in an interesting way.
Therefore, we can say that this is a triple neck BMI, each extra neck costing only 130$, weighing only a couple of pounds. Good deal.

Now, my granddaughter Rachel (3 1/2) is very interested in Papy's new guitar. So I taught her how to fold and unfold the kneelevers.

And playing with those pedals is of great interest too.
