Audition???????
There is no one in Nashville qualified to audition steel players except other steel players! This ad is ridiculous.
Can't you just see a great steel player like Buddy E., Paul F. or Tommy W. auditioning for some 19 year old female singer, amature studio owner that doesn't even know what a steel is? Yep, this is quite a town, goes a little more backwards everyday it seems. See why I went into the "steel store biz?" This is it.

My playing has been described as AMAZING but, not in the positive sense. I keep on keeping on though. I've only had sixty years of practice, just wait....
The last audition I has was with four capoed flat tops and a mandolin...thank goodness I flunked that one..Somehow I missed the beat...I don't think they did though..

Wonder if it's one of those deals like they had down at Studio "B" before? That would explain the 9-5 thing...

Music hath the charm to soothe a savage beast, but I'd try a 10mm first.
