I thought it was but the player on you tube did not
look like Paul.
On the Statler Bros. Utube Comedy Mark sings and
the steel is shown good.
He does a really good job. |

Hey Paul,
I think Paul Franklin is on most (maybe all) of Mark's recordings. I haven't seen the video you mentioned but Slim Yamaguchi has been Mark's steel player on the road for a long time - maybe it's him in the video. |

I've always thought it was Terry Crisp that did that song. Maybe Theresa can shed some light on it. |

Which video are you referring to? The Statler Brothers show or the production video? Also watch Mark's video "Brother Jukebox". Each one appears to have a different steel player.

Brett is always correct However, in the Statler Brothers Youtube version where they feature Mark Chestnut, I still think that Hal Rugg is the steeler. Note the way his glasses set and the movement he makes with his mouth as he starts the break. _________________ The only thing better than doing what you love is having someone that loves you enough to let you do it.

I can't view YouTube at work. I will try to remember to issue a final, binding ruling on this matter when I get home. Just don't ask what it might bind. _________________ HagFan
