i can imagine that's fairly heavy being a d12 with ten pedals...people always say msa's are too heavy, but i think fully loaded d10 p/p's are just as bad.
aside from what my back thinks, heavy guitars are amongst the best sounding ones...include zb's also!
jim...with all that hardware at your disposal, there must be every note known to man on it! nice!

That guitar is still looking good, Jim.
Jim bought this guitar on a Saturday and played it that night. I first saw it two days later when I bought my first pedal steel from Jim.

Maybe someone can find some history on my old MSA.
I resently traded for a D12 MSA Serial No. 2C3016
made by Bud Carter,
and it has the name HAROLD PLUMB engraved inside of it.

Jim R....Serial nhumber 2C3016 shows to be a black double 12 which left the factory with 8 pedals and 4 knee levers. Its original destination was our distributor who was located in Chicago. Your guitar was born on July 19th 1974.
Hope you enjoy your guitar and welcome to what we consider to be, the MSA family.

Thanks for the info Reese,
You have always been one of my hero's since I first saw you on AUSTIN CITY LIMITS back in the 70s. I now get to see you play on RFD TV. I can not remember the name of the show because I just had two Martini's. It is a great show.
