THANK YOU!

Post by Mike Sigler »

Just a quick thank you to Rick and his wonderful staff for another great show ! Sally & I had a great time with friends and family, And Rick and his crew always do the best job hosting the show. All the Players done a great job, And My highlight was to visit with my friend Don Helms....What a true legend he and MRs. Hazel Are. And what can i say, The Texas Roadhouse was on top of there game as well with the steaks too.
But what was the best over all high for me was to see Herby Playing Some Fast Swing Tune.. (Back In Indiana)
He was really kicking it, and was sounding like the old Herby again! Herby: you just amaze my friend, your always in my prayers.. Buck & Joe was amazing the crowd with everything they done, and so was all the back up players. As for Me, Well i took up a little time on the stage till the next guys came on, But what a time we had! Thanks Again Rick and Staff for time of our life's

Great show!

They gave Joe Wright all the time he wanted and he was more fabulous than always. A big contrast from the shows that only give Joe 30 mins, he needs more.

Buck Reid was incredible!

Don Helms cannot be missed, if you get a chance to see him don't miss it.

Mike Sigler's set was his best, and his singing of Statue of a Fool during the jam was phenomenal.

Great band and great show!

Hello everyone ! Sorry for the delay in posting . Finally got the trucks unloaded and some form of "normal" restored to the store .
Where to begin ? I guess the right place would be with the fans . Thanks for attending and making the show a success . Indeed without you there would be no need for a show . And please know all the kind words of appreciation and encouragment while passing in the halls are much appreciated !
To our sponsors . BSG Steel Guitars . For the funding to get Joe Wright on the program . Don and Ruby Burrows are honestly wonderful folks with hearts of gold . To my dear friends Rocky and Vickie Thomas of "Tommy Grimm Properties" .Thanks for all the things you do that go unseen. Most of all for the support to get Mr. Don Helms to the show . Rock might give us steelers a hard time on the outside but in his heart he just likes to hang around a higher class of people. To my family at Roselyn's Music . Even though they had signed on to sponsor Terry Crisp, who could not be there due to his Mother's stroke (please remember them in your prayers)they insisted on remaining on as a sponsor and assisted in getting Mr. Herby Wallace on the show . I know there financial help isn't recooped by sales at the show and yet they've helped since the second show . Another reason I'm humbled by the wonderful support of so many . Thanks ! And one more note of appreciation to all who purchased ad space in the program . Thanks for being a part of the show and making the "program" possible . Also PRC for the printing . Molly and the staff did a marvelous job for a fantastic price . Thanks to all ! (continued)

To the greatest staff anywhere . Without mentioning names (cause there are so many) you all out did yourselves this year . Everything I saw went smoother than ever . I'm sure there were bumps in the road but I didn't see them . You handled everything so well . I couldn't do it without you !
The staff band . Terrific !! What a wonderful thing to be able to count the great talents of Greg Neff and Brian Burrell on keys, Jerry Sexton on Guitar and Ron Cramer on Drums who have been doing the shows since 1998 . Knowing you're always there for me is a blessing .You'll never know how much I appreciate you . BTW...I think Ron gave me the best show ever . He's always been good but this year I'd have to say great .Also helping out on Drums Friday night was Donny Sanner . Other comittments kept him away Saturday but he did great on Friday . 2010 we'll have to get our schedules straight ! Dave Maple on Fiddle . What a character ! Always there for a laugh and trying to keep eveyone loose . No ego there. If someone wanted fiddle he was there if they didn't need it he had no problem with that .Dick Arth and Alan Coldiron on bass . What awesome talents . Great personalities too . They worked out schedules and made sure the artists were happy and comfortable with whoever they needed . Ric Boyer......What can you say ? Thanks for coming up with Buck and helping us out . What a joy to hear and watch him as he totally gets into his part . (more to come)
