| Has anybody tried the Perfect Touch Finger Picks that Scotty Sells? I have a real problem with hangnails, and these supposed to help with that. I'd like to hear from someone using them, and how they feel. They are spendy, but may be worth it. |

| Try and buy them, especially if you have hangnails. There are a few threads you can search for on this subject. They take some adjustment, they sit way down on your fingertips. I really like them. Incredibly comfortable and feels like playing with no picks on!I stepped on one the other night and I was as crushed as the pick. After a few bends and major refitting it seemed to have survived my blunder!They are soft! |

| I use the Pearse (old Stevens) design fingerpicks. They're along the same lines as the Perfect Touch's, but I think they grip better, due to the open sides. Both designs wrap around the knuckle instead of the fingertip, and they're far more secure and comfortable than other picks, IMHO. |

I have used them for over 2 years now. Hang nails drove me crazy before Rusty set me up. Here's the web site. I takes awhile to get use to them but they have worked for me.

I would like to try a pair out.. one of these days..
I use the olde style Dunlops with no holes at the cuticle.. can't get them anymore! 
I tried the split wrap ProPicks... hated them. Maybe the "vintage" wrap style will be better. |

Personal preference ?
I tried both and prefer the flat picks. I don't think you'll be disappointed with either. By far, they are the most comfortable picks (for me) out there. |

| I have a couple pair and love them. I prefer the flat one's too. The rounded one's have a mellower tone (to my ear). Also, the flats seem to wrap around the fingertips a little better. |

I tried a pair of the flat ones in Dallas 2 years ago and haven't looked back. I love them and would not think about going back. I used to have picks come off once in a while and get tangled up in the strings. It hasn't happened once with the Perfect Touch Picks.
