Thanks Norma, I like where you put me. If Jerry Newberry reads this, I need to find out something. Jerry, you play very near the time I play. I wonder if you would leave your stuff on stage for me to use? I loved the sound of your stuff in Baxter Springs. I don't want to be a pest Jerry, but I like your stuff. I have a new steel guitar, a brand I have not seen anyone playing at Siloam Springs or Baxter Springs. I have a new change on the E9th neck that should curl some hair. I won't have any singers with me this time, so it will be all steel guitar with no singing for me. Looking forward to locking horns with Buck Grantham.

Donna, Thanks! I plan on boring with a big auger! I am going to surprise everyone this year. I have a new and different guitar. This brand of guitar has never been played on the Silom Springs Show. Tell Austin and Jerry I have some new changes on my guitar, and the sweet sound of these new changes will curl their hair.

Just a "bump" to the top for a great show in Siloam Springs, Ar. at a great venue, "The Sager Creek Art Center" April 26th and 27th. We're looking forward to being there with many of our friends and fellow musicians.

Michael, stay on 412 till you get to South Mt. Olive street, turn north or to your right then go to the second stoplight which is by the hospital. Turn right on West Jefferson then turn left on South Maxwell and you will see the Art Center at the foot of the hill on Twin Springs street. It is across from the St. Francis Clinic. I hope this helps but you can ask anyone for directions once you get to Siloam Springs. See ya there!

Hey there Miss Norma Jean...thanks for the directions! Bill said go to the hospital and I could find it because you would have a banner out front. These directions will make it a lot easier to find. I want to get over there Sunday but I may try to make it Saturday instead. But what would be wrong with going both days though?

Hey, if you want to hear good old "Country" music played in a small replica of the Ryman Auditorium, be sure and attend this show in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Traditional country music is alive and well!

I am so sorry to have to report that I must cancel my time slots at this wonderful Show.
I have not missed a Show at Siloam Springs in 4 years and was so much looking forward to being there again.
I am just not up to the trip yet and feel I should listen to the Lord when he says "stay home for this one".
I would have needed to leave this coming Thursday to be there and I've just not had the time to recoup fully yet. I'll miss you all dearly and please continue to pray for me and my family, God bless. :D

I regret to tell everyone that I am going to have to cancel playing the SHOW. I love this show and all the people who attend it. I have been in the hospital with a bleeding colon. I almost bled out before they operated and got me patched up. I am home now, recovering. I am able to work on pedal orders to a limited degree. I don't think I can do the trip to Siloam Springs, as riding in a car bothers me right now. I am trying to get my blood count built back up. I was really looking forward to seeing all my friends and playing my new little guitar on the show. Thank you so much for inviting me.

This weekend in Siloam Springs

Post by Larry Garrett »

With the great lineup of players this weekend's convention promises to be another good one. I'm feeling better and hope to be able to come by at some point. Thankfully my condition wasn't contageous but I still have to take antibiotics for a few more weeks. I'm having fewer headaches. My balance is still a little unsteady but I'm getting better. I want to thank everyone for your prayers, cards, and calls. Also thanks to my wonderful wife Doris for taking such good care of me. I hope to see you all this weekend in Siloam Springs.

Fred, Keith, and Larry we all will miss you very much but maybe I need to confirm you all for next year. Ben Chesney has agreed to play in Fred's spot. He is avery good musician all the way around. Great voice, songwriter, steel and guitar player but most of all a really nice guy. He has his own band that he really gets to shine with. He plays fiddle also. I'm not sure if he will have his band but you will still be entertained listening to Ben. See ya Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th.
