Great Amp Tech in Texas!

Post by Jody Cameron »

My pal Terry Lovett just overhauled my favorite old amp - a 1993 Nash. 400. This amp has served me well. Four years of hard touring across the USA, and many beer joints across TX in the past 5 yrs. or so. It finally gave out on me, but Terry resurected it for me. New components and reverb upgrade. The reverb now sounds more like the old Fender reverbs did. I can honestly say that this amp sounds better than it ever has, even when new - all thanks to Terry.

He works on all types of amps, and specializes in the older tube amps. I am going to help him research and test some ideas for a steel amp. He is very interested in designing one, and is soliciting ideas.

Here is his contact info. if anyone should be interested in giving him some input on a steel amp design, or if anyone might need a repair or upgrade on an existing amp:

Ditto on Terry. He ressurected my 60's Twin Reverb and my 70's Session 400. Great work at a reasonable price. Both amps have a fierce sound. Fierce meaning they will blow you off the stage with tone and volume. Jody.
