Thanks to the Steel Guitar and the Musicians who can play it with any Style. This new fresh breed of Rap - A -Rock-a-Billy - Traditional Country Music,it's here.It was here before with " Red Rhodes " the King of that Style. Same with " Fats Domino " on his Rock-A-Billy Piano.Even Otis Redding's fits today Style of Music. The Fossilization of the invetion of air waves calling themself Country levies to be true,Fraud.Just like Hal-le-lu-jah it don't mean praise. > > Leo J.Eiffert,Jr. & Pigeons Band

I did'nt realize the GREAT Dale Watson ever had anything out on 78's,Shows how much I know, and the comment about Dales ability to drink prodigious amounts of teguila,so what,I remember about a year ago one of the most popular contemporary artist was honored at an awards show,he could'nt be there,he was in rehab,It's a shame but a FACT there has allways been a high percent of great artist over the years in the Country, pop, blues, jazz, rock, folk, field that ruined their careers, and died way too soon for abusing alcohol and drugs,If Dale does this he's not alone,But as far as talent goes,He's still lightyears ahead of anything out there today. He's the REAL DEAL,DYKBC.

LJ,that's right about Dale,[This is just my opinion only]But I think Dale is the BEST country and honky tonk singer we have today,Don't care if he performs before ten people or ten thousand,I only found out about him about three years ago from a friend,You won't hear him or rarely see him on FM radio or TV. When I heard him the first time could not believe how good he was.DYKBC.

If I remember right he also tells everybody about what country is. He makes no reservations either.
If he only has 10 people in the audience, then I guess it's because the masses can't exept or don't know the truth about what Nashville has done to such A great style of music. I say if you don't like it,leave it. Meaning the current state of fans.

Look here! Between " Brad Paisley's " Hershey Candy Tour & Uncle Al's 12oz Seafood Sauce " Pigeons " Tour, that's the kind of taste -bud Country Music is Today if you were to mix us together. The Soda Pop Belly wash industry chemical names of Stars can't help & have no power to do so,so let's give them a little respect for the nomination of they don't care how much this little over 7000 Pros & non-pros Steel Guitar Musicians and others who keep crying about Rap-a- rock -a- Billy Traditional Country Music. You won't see Dale Watson or any other real Traditional Artist on any major Network Show unless they are under, somthing! hmmm.... you can smell the cinnamon twigs piled high around the firebird in anticipation of the coming conflagration... the utter destruction of the great speckled bird we call country music.... only to be reborn from the ashes of the fallen bird and the fuel that fired the kiln of rebirth!
From those ashes will rise a more beautiful, more fully realized creature that will take wing and awe and mystify all--> young and old with sounds and sites as we've never beheld. It will be a golden age that we will remember fondly when it is gone.

Everybody is somebody with God,even the ones who say I'm a no body.> > Leo J.Eiffert,Jr. > > God Bless you Karen & your Family.

Hello Jim Robbins,so,what would you BBQ & why? The poor great speckled bird didn't hurt no one.I think the jigsaw puzzle's eyes are open now as to how to fix the delude air waves of abuse. Leo J.Eiffert,Jr. PS: Let's hear some instrumental steel Guitar songs on your local radio station in your neighborhood. Now,that would be a change.

Charles,It could happen if the pro Musicians who pay union dues to be what the government gives us, equailty of rights in the fight of opportunities. Just like me the little no body individual who care for all of our rights. Okay,so it will take all of us together to get it done,so why be afraid. We can do it. > Leo J.Eiffert,Jr.

Thats right!Once again very well said.Okay, so it will take all of us together to get it done,so why be afraid. We can do it.
We can watch it happen, sit back and complain,or we can each play a small part in some way of "Keeping Country Music Alive".It all starts with the song. If its country, the instruments added should be, "Steel", "fiddle", "Honky Tonk piano",etc.
The producer that you use should know what the singer wants and should understand how he/she wants it.
When I recorded in the studio I knew exactly the sound I wanted to fit the songs I wrote.I wanted the 'Ole Nashville sound and used Lloyd, Pig, Spicher, Malone on them.I watched the Opry last week and listened to the "Time Jumpers" and that wonderful voice of Miss "Dawn Sears" singing "Sweet Memories".It was country from the word go, and it was wonderful.
If Country music is dying, then what was that I heard? The Time Jumpers are doing their part in keeping it alive. Many other bands are doing the same.As long as there are good country songs, there will be steel guitars playing in them.

Right On Karen!,Slowly but surely we are getting our Country and Music back. It starts in your own neighborhood. You need 3 real Country Night Clubs,1 Real Country Radio Station with Real Country Musicians who are Disc Jockeys that won't or don't sell out. And,you need real brotherhood Musicians who won't cut each others throat just for a name or fame in the neighborhood & for less money. Let the Music speak for it's self. If you are a real Musicians you should beable to play any style, but,if you can only play your style then have the respect to do the same as the above. Rap a rock a-Billy with traditional Country music is here! It's you that Musician who calls the shot on who you are.God Bless and let's heal the neighborhood for the Steel Guitar and music,it's here to stay. > Leo J.Eiffert,Jr. & Pigeons.

Karen, that is a very nice & sweet song. You're not gonna get anymore Country then that. Nice intro with that Cajun Fiddle. The rhythm pattern of 2/4 piano, bass, drums and the Steel Guitar place movements with that mandolin is very cool. The vocal is real from the heart. How many real Country Radio Stations are playing, " Play it Country ". Great job in producing, who did it?,you Karen. Sincerely in Music, Leo J.Eiffert,Jr. & Pigeons Band with some " Southern Spirit ".

Hello Jake Palmatier, We do not have to fight to keep Country Music Alive! What we have to do is understand those who call Country music what it is today, Rap-Rock-a- Billy with R & B - Motown rhythm patterns in Traditional Country Music, that they call Country. The ringing sensation in those peoples ears are about as righteous as a five leggeted alligator. Country Music is alive and well as lone as the Musicians who can play it or respect that music we love. I've answered on this Topic what it is that's wrong with our Music and it's Musicians. Sincerely in Music & Country. > Leo J.Eiffert,Jr.
