I've installed BAIB and the tuning
is right for my computer and when
I created my first song the chords
were tuned perfectly with my guitar.
However, I imported a midi file and
it generated the chord sheet and
the song plays fine but
the midi file is not in tune with
my guitar, the song was displayed/written
in G and I have to play it in
the key of Eb on my guitar.

Why?

Remember the chord sheets I generated
in my first song in the key of G, matched
the sound of my guitar, dead on.
I know BAIB is in tune with my guitar.

How can I fix this?

Rick

If the BIAB chart shows the chords in the key of G... but the song is playing in the key of Eb, you just need to change the key of the audio, not the chart. Click on the drop-down menu in BIAB that shows the key of the song. Raise the key two whole steps. When you do that, BIAB will ask if you also want to “Transpose the WorkSheet?”. Click on NO. That will transpose the audio from Eb to G, and keep the chord chart in G.

Doug
That worked like a charm.
I've read the manual a couple
of times and have come to the conclusion
that I'm gonna have to write my own manual.

Thanks

Rick, I'm glad it worked! I agree with you about the manual. I looked at the manual once for about 2 minutes, and never looked at it again! Too much stuff in it. I learn better by poking around in the program and experimenting.

R.J. i like it and i don't have to pay the band . They play the song the same way every time ! What i really like is the 5000 songs that you can add onto it has many songs that i like . I can change the arrangements and type of drum beat or rhythum ! I am still learning about it and this weekend i will bend Chuck Campbells ear for more info . He will be at Rick Troyers show . Somehow i see more dollars going out of my pocket ! R.J. just send me your checkbook and i will buy you some more goodies ! Laughing
