STEELSEAT.COM

Post by Thom Beeman »

I haven't posted lately because of my health I wasn't sure I would be able to attend the Dallas Show. Today the doctor gave me permission to come to Dallas.

After reading some of the posts in the steel player and pedal steel sections, I'm glad we're coming. Some of your questions are met daily at STEELSEAT.COM, such as seat heights, backrests, storage, gimmicks, etc.. STEELSEAT.COM does not stock-pile seats we build them for you the individual player as ordered to fit your leg requirements and size of your body to provide you with hours of comfortable playing.

Please stop by our display and put your seat on one of our seats.

While your there check out Al Talley's new seat.

A Great Seat

Post by David Alexander »

I bought an ATA type seat from Thom at the Dallas Convention last year. After several thousand miles on our bus it still looks great and protects my toys. A great seat.

I purchased a seat from Thom a while back. This seat is a step above the competition. The seat is rock solid, as are the legs and clamps. Thom offers a wide variety of quality material types and colors. Some builders choose to use light gauge conduit clamps on the legs, which I have had problems with. The cushions are firm and support you well while playing. The seat locking mechanism is secure. They are absolutely the best seat on the market, built by a great person. That is my opinion after owning a few other brands.

I just bought tonight at the Dallas show a birdeye maple - solid wood not mica with 7 coats of hand rubbed laq. xtra deep cabinet with a red cloth top and back steel seat to match my guitar. I can't wait to get it. It also came with a padded $150.00 D2F cover and my name on the back rest- shipped for only $450.00
Such a deal......

Prayers

Post by Joe Rouse »

Hey Thom,
I met you in Chuck Backs display room in Dallas and visited a while. You and Chuck both seem to be fine men and were certainly helpful and above all willing to share some advice and information. I appreciate you both and will be praying for you and your family.

Sorry I didn't see this posting earlier. But, I am really enjoying my "King-sized" Steelseat Thom built me last year. We met Mac in Dallas and seemed like a very nice and capable man to help out Thom until he's got his medical issues under control.

Donna and I are both in your corner pulling for you Thom. Let us hear from you when you get a chance.

Thom,

I'm loving my new seat. It is a real pleasure to sit at my steel. Thanks for hooking me up in Dallas and saving me a bundle on shipping, brokerage and taxes. Best wishes for your transplant and I look forward to seeing you again next year.

Thom,
Because of speaking with you last year during the course of building my seat I know you're a good and honest man. I appreciate you like so many others do, and I'm counting on Blessings coming your way soon. You told me of the Indy Gospel Show you attended last year and how great it was. That conversation comes to mind quite often, and thanks for taking the time. The seat is Super and my prayer is that you will have everything you need to keep helping others with your knowledge and talent.

WILL SAY SOME PRAYERS FOR YOU THOM

Post by Loren Bayles »

Hello Thom,

Sorry to hear that you have health issues and will pray things develop in your favor really soon and you can receive the treatment you need and get on the road to recovery.

Just a side note to say that the steel seat I purchased
from you is serving me very well and still looks very good.
Thanks for a good price on a good quality steel seat.
Best wishes to get completely well very soon.

Thom, just a belated note, thanks for the strut fastener you sent me, it's perfect. I'll arrange a date to come visit and add the second carrying handle to my ATA seat when I can.

Guys, these seats are wonderful, had mine for a little over a year now, rock solid. Thom's a great person to deal with.

I'm pulling for big improvement in your health, Thom, and give my best to Leanne (hope I spelled her name right!).
