My luck is still holding out.

I'll be playing at Daddy$ Money this Friday 8-12 and Saturday 9-1. The club is behind Owens restaurant in Lewisville at 335 McDonnell St., near where 121 and I-35E come together.

Any of you DFW pickers that aren't gigging, I'd like to meet you. This band is very good and we have a lot of fun.

Guess everyone must be pickin', as none of you showed up last night. I'm starting to feel like Smiley Roberts!

This club used to be called The Hitching Post, and the band's name I'm playing with is Sweating Bullets.

I'll also be playing with them next Saturday at the White Elephant Beer Garden in the Fort Worth Stockyards.
