I saw a 66 PP Tommy had worked on, it looked better than brand new. Almost every part under the guitar had been hand polished. Also the end plates, key head, pedal bar and pedals were as bright as the sun. I was knocked out. It was a black mica/aluminum neck guitar.
With a Tommy C buff job, a Tommy Young tone mod and a Lynn Stafford pedal adjustment, a person would have a guitar he would have to put in a bank vault or hire an armed guard to protect.

It's been a real pleasure to have this beautiful guitar in my home for a few days, while making a few changes and adjustments for the owner, who happens to live here in Portland.
Here are two photos that were posted on the Forum earlier by Tommy, himself after just finishing up the restoration.
Here is a close-up I took.
Thanks for dropping by, Larry! It was good to see you and share the enjoyment of looking this guitar over.

Wow, Lynn, that is beautiful. I can't wait to see what you can do with my old Super Pro.
And for those of you that don't know, Lynn does some mighty fine work. I can attest to that because I am playing one of his Pro I's and it is awesome playing and looking. |

Hi Doug:
Tommy does excellent work and including polishing the entire undercarriage to a mirror finish.
Also, what model guitar is the red double neck second pic from the bottom. Looks real pretty!

Whoops, I was just checking in on the thread and noticed that I gave Lynn cudos for all of the work. I had Lynn on the brain since he does do great work also. I better slow down and read these more closely in the future.
Sorry Tommy, but great work! |
