Anyone out there know the code on BMI serial numbers? What do these BMI numbers mean for this guitar?...

6293878 no. is this in the endplate at the bottom? If not that sounds like a phone number of a previous owner. We only use one group to identify the number of the steel.

637 - identifies this steel being made between 1985-1990.

One set of numbers on the changer end and the other set on the keyhead end at the bottom edge of the endplates.
