When I print, the right margin shorts out some
words.
How can I center it to get all the message.
Like printing an E mail or off a web site.

Sounds like you are trying to print more than 80 characters. Many printers will only print "x" number of characters and if you try to print more than that per line it will either just cut them off on the left side or print them on the next line.
Is this what you are talking about?
If the web site is a "wide" site, one thing you can try is to just Highlight the section you want to print and "Print Selection" rather than the entire page. Sometimes that fixes the problem. Highlight the section of the web page that you want to print, in Internet Explorer, click File, Print then check "Selection" in the Print Range. |

Jack,
any email I print is this way and record labels
will not center in the circle. Is there and
adjustment under tools somewhere to slide it over
some? |

I don't know without knowing what Operating system you have and what Printer you have. On some printers there are general setups, on some programs, such as CD label printing software (I do not use paper labels - that is a very bad move) they have a calibration routine to allow you to calibrate (personalize) the printing to your specific printer.
Does everything just start too far to the right or is it starting at a "normal" left side margin?
It could even be a problem in the Printer if it's not starting correctly. Many possibilities.
Go to the Control Panel and Printers (how you get there depends on your Operating System) and then LEFT click on the icon for your printer and the RIGHT click on Properties. When the panel comes up, one option will be to print a test page. click on that and print a test page and see if it prints off too. If it does, either the printer has a hardware problem or there is setting in the printer that is off. You could try reinstalling the printer drivers and software - do a complete clean reinstall (1) Uninstall the printer and the printer software and physically disconnect the printer from the PC, (2) restart the PC and (3) do a "new" install of the printer and ONLY physically connect the unit to the PC when the install program tells you. If you connect the printer first either it will fail or Windows will install incorrect drivers. |

Jack,
Thank you for your help. This a new Kodak Printer
the last 2 HP did the same thing. so I guess its in the PC. I can read the page good all the way across,
but when I print it leaves off the last few words of
every sentence on the right. I thought there may be
an adjustment somewhere in the computer. I can live with it. |

What resolution do you have your monitor set for? If it's displaying "wide" that could be the problem - it's displaying more characters per line than the printer can print.
I have Epson printers and they come with "Web to Page" utility that will format web pages so they will print correctly on the printer. On MS Word or whatever wordprocessor you are using there should be a setup for the number of characters per line. I can't say about e-mail, but mine will do a "word wrap" at the end of the line if it exceeds the width of the paper. |

monitor resolutions are. Where do go to check this?

I think you told me what I needed. The answer was
microsoft word. I went to page width and it said
114 % (Why I do not know ) So I chged it to 100
and that probably will fix it.
I will know where to go now.
