Pig gigs (blues rock) in L.A.

On Friday July 19, and again on August 9, my blues rock band, "The Fickle Pigs" will bew performing at Topper's Tavern, 1630 Colorado Blvd in the Eagle Rock section of Los Angeles. You are all invited to come down and hear the band. (These are my first post- accident gigs, and I'm really raring to do them.)

I play steel, frequently with distortion, in this band, and my playing in this context is closer in style to the great slide guitarists of the past like Duane Allman and Robert Johnson than to the more traditional E9 Nashville style (although I do get in some of that too.)

I hope all you Southern California pickers can come.
