Smiley is absolutely right. Now the hard work starts. The benefit was a great time and a good kickoff to help one of our own. Lets all be in this for the long haul and get those checks to the address above. Thanks. Richard

Janice,I don't think so,to the best of my knowledge. (which ain't sayin' much.)
Just drop a check in the mail,to the p.o. box at the top. That'll take care of it. Thanx.

Thanks to Smiley Roberts and a host of other folks, bands, and super pickers, the benefit went down fairly well. We had a teriffic thunderstorm that I'm sure keep a lot of people from coming but I think all in all, the turnout was great !!
I have some photo's up on my photo page at "Yahoo Photo". You can view them by clicking on the link below:

Select the "Jim Murphy Benefit" album.

Thanks fellows for a great show and a wonderful out-pouring of commitment by the Steel community (and others) for one of our Steel Players !! It's really heart warming to see the bond generated by the music community for our brothers when times are hard.

May your God bless all of you.

Janice is right - one of the first things Ray Benson said when ATTW took the stage at the Silverton Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas Saturday (July 6th, 2002)night was the Big Jim was -very sick- again and was undergoing more chemo treatments (Jeremey Wakefield) flew in from LA on very short notice to fill on steel) - so for those that haven't contributed to the Big Jim cause, please donate whatever you can - its important.
