ok guys need your help right now my health is keeping me from playing but im getting better later i want to buy a new guitar. can any one give me soom feed back on the new jackson steel? been looking at the xtreme. looks like a lot of guitar for the money.have you played one own one ect. on a fixed income and cant aford a 4000 guitar. if some one can help me out would be a blessing to me. now playing a gfi sd10.

Hey Ronnie,
I've ordered an Xtreme, and am now anxiously waiting for it to get here. It's supposed to be done soon. I'll let you know what I think about it then.
Meanwhile I'm also very interested in what anybody else who has played, or owns one, thinks about them. So far I'm very impressed with the customer relations....

I've been playing a Blackjack for a while now. It sounds great, stays in tune, cost me under $1,700 for a 3+4, and looks like a million bucks! What else do you want? This guitar's got more guts than any S10 I've ever played.
I quit smoking almost a year ago, but can't quite kick the BJS.

I can only agree whole heartedly with Chris! I, too. have been playing a Jackson Blackjack "full house" for some months, and I can't say enough about the quality, sound, fit & finish of this guitar, particularly for the money. In my humble opinion, it seems to have that certain combination of "presence", "timbre", "sustain" "string separation", etc., - whatever you want to call it - that gives it an exceptionable tone and playability. It has a sound and feel you would expect in a much more expensive steel, and it's good all the way up the neck - it won't "give up" on you anywhere. It's just a real pleasure to play!
I know that we all have our "favorites", and are quick to expand on all of the virtues regarding what we deem to be the "ultimate", but when all is said and done, I guess that the "proof is in the pudding", so to speak. If there is any way that you can see your way clear to sit behind a Blackjack and give it a try, I would urge you to do so...compare it with as many others as you can. I think you will find that, dollar for dollar, they are hard to beat! |

Next to my old Sho~Bud Baldwin D10, it's the best "Hugheyland" guitar I've owned.

had decided on the blackjack custom on one part of jacksons web site said 5th was avalible called about it now say not aval. having problems installing. but was avalible on xtreme  now back to squire one.now undecided again.  need some feed back from other owners.  |

Well Jackson guitars where do I start....I have two and another one on order. The blackjack is a great little guitar with all the quality of the expensive guitars. This thing stays in tune sounds great OK it is individual taste but for me it sounds great. They are so easy and smooth to play,put that all together with great people to service you and they do look after you after you have bought one. As tony the tigre would say GREAT.

The Jackson experience.
Open the case. Staring at you (in My Case)in
big letters it says,custom made for Bill Mayville.
On the guitar is a small plate with my name on it.
It sorta made me feel a little special.My new Mullen.I would have kept that guitar,but there was nothing personal on it.But I noticed some popular players have their name on The Mullen.My new Emmons
guitar was suppose to have my Name on it. Two weeks before shipping after waiting 18 months,they said
they could not do it. I ordered Blue. I recieved
a green one.I never fell in Love with the Emmons.
Completly the opposite with The Jackson.
My sound is alot deeper than the one posted here.
Also, the Jackson sounds good on the 1000.Better yet on the Fender Steel King.It is the commemorative
model.For some reason the Jackson plays without
pressing on the pedals.The Mullen was very easy to play. The Jackson easier Yet.I don't know how long The Jackson will hold up. It only has less than one hour on it.As my leg gets better ,i'll put some time on it .Anyone near Abilene can come and try it out if they want to.

Hey Bill,
I hope it didn't take 18 months to get the Jackson!! How long did it take? I'm getting antsy waiting for my XTreme to get here...
Ronnie, Mine is the birds eye maple. I think it's the one they have a pic up on the Xtreme page on their site.
