Nice one Ray to earn a hundred quid for that......better than that long drive couple of weeks back to Minehead and all the hanging about for less ;-)

Ray , you did fine, way back in the 80's we (Barbary Coast ) backed Larry Hagman JR on Granada TV , the singer borrowed my Western shirt to do the gig, at the end of the song Larry shot the singer and all the band ,
but my shirt got gun power burns on it , long story short, we went to te wardrobe department at Granada and
asked if I could be payed for the damage to the shirt, they said yes and gave £150 for the damage , I asked if I could keep the shirt they said yes, took the shirt home and washed it and it looked good as new. Also as I played steel I got extra money for the gig , something to do with porterage and got paid for the gig , I came out with £750 for the day, the piano player also got a big sum of money .
here a link to the show

Micky, I think it was a Sho-Bud Pro II..
We had a busy weekend ,after the Granada show we went up to Layland and did a show with Ken Dodd in the afternoon , then back to Manchester and flew to Holland for a Country festival with Frank Ifield, next morning we flew to Leeds and went to Matlock Bath for a country night , a long time ago, you could smoke on the plane then...
