I own a 1962 G6119 Gretsch Tennesseean Chet Atkins model, and I'm puting it in a shop for some repairs. So, for a back-up I bought a new Gretsch G5120, but there is no hardshell case with it. I have searched Ebay and other sites and could not find what I need. It fits perfectly in my 1962 case, with about 1" space at the headpiece. That's about as perfect as I can imagine, except if they made one specifically for the 5120, which they don't. Maybe someone out there has a 5120 and has found a good substitute. I would like to hear from you. I really would like a good fit, not too spacey and sloppy. Hope to hear from someone.
