Thanks all, it was a fun build, a little wood and a ton of love Smile

I'm sorry to see it go, it was a custom build for a player back east.

That's a super nice guitar. I like the way the peg-head arrangement has the strings coming straight out from the nut, very smooth. Great job Tom.

The fret markers you have on the treble side actually make more sense, visually, than in the center of the fret board, in the usual way.

If only. The dots were lined up with the strings and the frets extended the same distance past the strings from the first fret to the last. Another beautiful wall hanger. Old eyes Crying or Very sad

WOW, nice!

How does that Lollar Console Grand pickup sound, eg. compared to a P90?

Thanks again all, it was a labor of love Smile

Roman ... its a nice sounding pickup. The coil is short and fat similar to a P90, but with Fender'ish magnets / slugs.
The tone is full, clear, and sweet. I'd say the clip on Jasons site is very representative of how it sounds in person.

Sonny ... it is a Tru Oil finish, no wax though.
I lost track of how many coats are on it, it takes some effort to get the walnut filled.

Here is another misc pic.

I was digging through my pics and found a decent one of the back of the headstock.
When thicknessing the headstock, I wanted to keep it good and stiff so I carved a little volute to help the cause.
