I had the pleasure of visiting Micro Space where the new MSA guitar is being produced.
It is one of the finest machining and assembly companies in the country. The tolerances being held on parts they produce
are +/- .0007 and on machine parts for the new MSA is +/- .005. Inspection, equipment,
machinery and facility are top notch. Their
staff of people also fit the criteria required for high tech engineering design. Being a mechanical engineer myself, it was a pleasure to discuss the mechanics of the guitar in detail.
Now for you guitar players, you have seen the pictures. But in this case a picture
does not do justice to this puppy. The beauty
of the body is like nothing you have ever seen. Imagine a custom car paint job with 30 coats of clear laquer, purty, purty, purty!
The mechanism is smooth as silk with the percision of a Porsche.
Ah, the sound, you have equal killer tone and sustain from the first fret all the way up. You have to hear this axe as nothing is subjective about it, it is there!!
The weight, the scale does not lie. Yep, a
D10 8/5 less than 30lb and it is stable !
My order is in for a S12 8/5 black on chrome.
I want to thank the guys at MSA for the opportunity to tour the factory and review the new MSA Millennium guitar as it will set the standard for years to come! Thanks

Thanks for the report Richard, I plan to visit the factory also, probably when the S-12 is finished and ready to see. I can't wait to drive one of these new machines!! |

Rex,
I haven't had the chance to get up to Dallas because my son had surgery.

Woah! Sorry, Steve. Thoughts & prayers are with you and yours. Of course, we'll all be tickled to hear from you once you have the opportunity to check the new MSA out. |
