HANK WILLIAMS COLLECTION --Non Pedal Steel Guitar

Post by Roy Thomson »

I am pleased to announce that I have a brand new Hank William's Collection for the Six String Non Pedal Steel Guitar.
The tuning is C6th..
High to Low: E--C--A--G--E--C (C#)

You will note the (C#) above ...that simply means for a few of the songs you tune the six string a half tone higher. A good opportunity to try this if you have not already done so.

This Collection consists of Fourteen(14) of Hank's biggest hits instrumentally performed in traditional
style of the 1940's--50's.

All songs are done up with ClicTab and measured as to timing...plus a matching CD with my playing all the material.

You can email me for ordering information
roythomson at eastlink dot ca

The information will also be on Ron Turner's ClicTab Site this weekend. ( See link at bottom of this post)

Here is a link to a MP3 Sampling.

Hi Roy - I purchased you other C6th tab/CD last November. Really helped me. I am interested in getting this item. How much and what address?

That mp3 sample sounds great Roy. These songs can also be played in A6 or E6 as the finger grips would be the same. Correct me if I'm wrong Roy.

Hi Andy,

For E6th you would have to transcribe down four frets
and A6th up four frets which may be a mite high
up the fretboard for my arrangements. That is if you
wish to stay in the same Key Signature.

Roy - your package arrived today. Thanks very much.

I have already started learning some of the songs! Very good playing/tabs and back up track(s).

Thanks again for another quality learning course.
