I probably shouldn't say this, but I'm appalled at the recent attack on Tom Bradshaw. I consider Tom and Reece both to be friends, and I'm taking no position on the MSA controversy other than to say I'm terribly saddened by it and I hope it's resolved to everybody's satisfaction.

But regardless of whether people support Reece or Tom, there is no place on this forum for the kind of vicious attack, for either man, that took place here.

This forum has been free of the kind of abusive behavior that has plagued other forums. Let's keep it that way.

Mike: I too consider both Reece and Tom as some of my most valued friendships. Quite frankly, I can not do without either of them and for that reason alone, I refrain from adding to the situation. My fondest wish is that it will resolve itself in a manner acceptable to both of these gentlmen. I cannot bury my head in the sand so I read and keep my thoughts to myself. Since there is nothing I wouldn't do for either of them, I sometimes get caught in the middle and that is when it hurts the most. I wonder if someone hasn't said: You gentlemen go to your corners and when the bell rings, come out fighting. I don't know how many rounds there will be but for their own sakes, I would want for it to stop. What ever that may take; so we can all be the best of friends again because that is how it should be........

Regards, Paul

Yes Mike, it's been AMAZING, if anything. Would it be out of line to suggest; if one wants a new MSA, BUY one, if one doesn't, DON'T. Do you think it could possibly be that simple? I'll go on record by saying I want the gtr. to succeed, but above that, I'd really like to see & hear how the gtr. does minus the head beating. Let the dollar decide, & let's have peace. Is that asking too much?

Retcop, as far as I'm concerned, regardless of who is right or wrong, there is no place on this forum for the kinds of insults that were hurled at Tom. Some people said some unkind things about Reece too, which I also didn't like reading, but nobody went over the line and posted the kinds of abusive things that prompted my initial post.

As I said earlier, I consider both Tom and Reece to be friends, and like you, I'm a dedicated MSA owner.

My post is not about the controversy and the dispute between the two men. It is about what is or is not appropriate behavior for this forum. It's one thing to side with one or the other, and quite another to lower the quality of this forum with offensive and abusive material.

There is a line of decency that was crossed here. The post involved was so abusive and offended me so much that if I ran this forum I'd revoke the membership of the person who posted it. I would feel the same way if somebody posted anything equally abusive and offensive about Reece. Or about anybody else for that matter.

I've seen other forums degenerate into a cesspools of flame wars and daily insults.
We have a wonderful thing going here. If we all behave like adults we can and will keep it that way.

The poster requested that and from the tone of b0b's post, it has been done.

I MUST agree with Mike and all the rest. I love BOTH of them to pieces. I have NOTHING but admiration for them both.

NO one will ever get me to say anything bad about either of them. EVER!

May Jesus come into our hearts, so Satan's devisivenss will be shoved OUT.
