New Contest involving Millenium and Fessenden!

OK, here's a shamelessly promotional, totally transparent, and even potentially educational contest for ya.

On my new CD, "Cohen Goin' Country", there are 10 tracks. 7 of these tracks were played on my Fessenden D-10 (lacquered wood body; TruTone pickups), and 3 of the tracks were played on my Millenium D-10 (carbon fiber body; Tonealigner pickups). If you guess which ones were played on the Milly, you win a prize! Simple as that! (Yeah, right, Jim)

Visit: www.JimCohen.com and click through to listen to clips from all 10 songs (see, I told ya it was 'promotional'

) then come back here and post the names of the 3 songs you think were played on the Milly.

The first person to identify correctly all 3 songs done on the Milly wins a copy of the disc PLUS a copy of the full rhythm tracks from the disc.

Great selection, and tasteful playing as usual. I prefer a straight E9 country version of Mansion on the Hill, but your C6 version is a great change of pace. The whole set of samples makes a fine medley to listen to.

Oh, which is the Fessy and which is the Milly? I've owned both, and haven't the faintest clue. But I am so glad you have moved beyond your Dobro simulator phase and are carrying on with your usual more than acceptable tone.

Thanks, guys. And, David, actually my version of 'Mansion on the Hill' does start out with an E9 country version, then segues into this C6 section (it gets a 'C-section'?

) For the demo, I just chose the C-section cuz it's mo' different.

I going with with 1, 4 and 5 for the MSA. Hope I can at least get the consolation prize (a map of where the police hide in Branson and 15 lbs of downhome gravy).

I'm goin' for 1, 5, and 10 though I was waffling between 2 and 5. Bottom line is that it's great playing and the range of guesses here shows, yet again, that the player makes a whole lot more difference than the guitar!

OK Jim, now I know why you didn't announce me the winner. I went back and analyzed them again and the correct answer should be number 2, 5 and 10 are on the Millenium. OK, now you can announce it and I will send you my address.

For the bonus round (Jimbeaux-ness round???), I'd wager that if I'm right - not that there's any great risk of that - the Milly tracks were recorded in the order of number one, number ten, and then number five. (Er, unless the Milly track is number two and not number five...)
