After 18 wives, I'm surprised that he still wants to go it again. |

Fellas,
This is not a rock band ! We are playing tunes like begin the beguine, besami mucho, moon river and Herb Alpert covers. I will be reading through lounge standards with some super talented local yocals. I want to get better at playing the C neck so I set up a gig. Therefore I can't get fired even if I suck !
I play in rock bands all the time. This one is for fun.

That puzzled me, too. Why did you think it was a rock band, Nick. Trumpet, string bass, steel and drums? It would be pretty hard to play rock in that configuration.
I assumed new age, jazz, or experimental music - the kind of stuff Bob is best known for. |

Reuben Radding (sp?), your bass player, evidently just moved back to NYC from Seattle. Saw him several times here with experimental jazz - beautiful tone. |

Faser,
Thats the guy ! We are old friends from when he lived here in NYC. Its good to have him back in town. There is always room for another great bass player around here.
