It's a big Last Train Home week!

Unfortunately I won't be making the Nashville trip, but our good friend Pete Finney is most likely to be in the steel chair for these Nashville shows:

WEDNESDAY JUNE 19

Slow Bar

1024 Woodland Street
Nashville, TN
615-262-4701
6 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. LTH will be performing a "showcase" set for a big ol' record label, but you can come too. No cover. Drink a beer. Scream loudly.

THURSDAY JUNE 20

Dancin' in the District

Nashville, TN
LTH will be opening for Steve Earle, Trucker, and Saddlesong. This is an enormous, free waterfront event in Nashville's Riverfront Park. We're very happy to be part of the proceedings. LTH performs a tight 30 minute set from 6 to 6:30 p.m.

Then this weekend I once again will be playing with Last Train Home in Arlington Virginia at our home-away-from-home, a nightclub venue called IOTA Two big nights of LTH, with several guitars, pedal steel, trumpet, possibly sax, mandolin, guest vocalists... another big LTH @ iota weekend! Featuring new tunes from our as yet unnamed forthcoming (real soon now) CD... and for a steel guitar bonus I will be playing with the opening act on Friday night as well...LTH's guitarist/vocalist/songwritist triple threat Bill Williams is fronting his own unit, I guess to prove something to himself

Seriously, Bill's got some great tunes that the 'Train ain't got around to playin', and we're gonna do a long overdue Stephen Foster tribute....

Last Train Home
June 21 & 22, 2002

IOTA Club and Cafe'
2832 Wilson Blvd., Arlington
703/522-8340
Openers: Bill Williams Orchestra on Friday; the Shiners (richmond va. band.. cool psychobilly) on Saturday.

We go on at approx. 10 on both nights, ending at approx. 1 a.m. both nights.
