Last week there was discussion here about steel guitar fret boards.....

frets being nothing more than guestimated locations for bar placement.

The Jerry Byrd-Fan Club.com has a video clip that many of you have seen, I'm sure, however, it shows how precisely Jerry Byrd placed his bar ABOVE the fret marker and NOT, above or below it. No guessing or averaging involved here, but rather precision placement.

Great photography with respect to bar movement/placement.

Is anyone going to be bold enough to say that JERRY BYRD was anything but accurate? If you've got a theory, let's hear it.
