Anyone got the Time Jumpers DVD?

I just recieved the DVD in the mail and put it in the player. The quality is really poor. Anyone else have that problem? I'm going to return it, but wonder if I got a hold of a bootleg or something.

I received my Time Jumpers DVD and it's clear as a bell. Love it.

In fact, I'm going to order 4 more to give as Birthday presents. I'd bet they'll replace it for you with no hassles.

Mine works okay, too! But last year, I did buy an "Operation Russless" DVD (through John Hughey) that turned out to really be a Joe Wright teaching video.

Dunno how that one happened.

The technical quality of this video is only exceeded by the musicianship thereon - you must have a poor copy.

The professional production was, for me, yet another factor that set this great DVD above anything else in the genre.

Im the proud owner of the "Time Jumpers DVD" a friend gave me a copy,,one of the best,I'ev watched it several times,and never get tired of it,,I noticed that John Hughey only did 2 numbers in E9,,the rest was C6,,it is a "red Must" for anyone who like's Western Swing,,every player is an excellent musician,,hoping one day to get to go see them in person at the Station Inn In Nashville...

I had a TJs' DVD shipped over to the UK a few months ago.
I thought at first that the sound quality in parts was a bit rough, but eventually put that down to my TV, especially as it played just fine on my PC.
This album is truly magnificent,with each performer at the very top of his/her trade, and what a lasting legacy from the great J.H.

I bought mine online from musicforasong.com. They have already offered to replace it or refund. I think it has to be an unauthorized copy because of the problems it has.

I bought mine from the Time Jumpers' own web-site.

It was quick and easy, and delivery was prompt. I don't know their address off-hand, but I'm sure it's easy to find.

You know, as much as I love this DVD, I should qualify that by saying that I'm really not all that fond of western swing as a genre - my not being particularly partial to fiddles is a bit of a drawback, and there's a sameness about some of the melodies.

The musicianship on this disc is so outstanding, however, that I find I forget my prejudices; it's superb from start to finish!

I got mine from the man himself, Mr John Hughey autographed no money can touch it. I'll have it until I cash in.
The CD is great no problems, and the "Sweet Memories" song is out of this world Dawn Sears did an outstanding job on this song as she does on everyone that she sangs.

Dawn Sears is the real deal. That version of Sweet Memories makes my hair stand up. She's purty too

I only have their stuff downloaded from YouTube, but plan to buy both the DVD and CD so I can watch it full size on my TV.

I echo everyone's comments about the DVD. The picture and sound recording quality is absolutely excellent.

I was fortunate to catch the band on a recent trip to Nashville. All of the band were there along with Paul Franklin ably filling John Hughey's place. The overall performance was as good as on the DVD, but the atmosphere was incredible. I can fully understand why these guys enjoy doing this gig after so many years.

Mr Franklin is a very approachable and amicable person. His style and tone is very different to that of John Hughey, but he nevertheless made a good contribution to the show.
