Thank-You from the Dairy State Steel Show
I want to thank all the people and players that helped make our show a success. Russ, Joe, and Danny played their butts off as did the other 24 or so players. The guys in the house band were on top of things as always and our crew that was headed up by Michael Cutsforth was A#1. I also want to give a big thank-you to David and Terri Church. Their part of the show will be remembered for a long time.
2013 Williams D-10, 2019 Williams D-10, 1970 Fender Twin, Evans SE200, Fender Tonemaster Twin, Hilton pedal, Jagwire Strings.

Another very enjoyable "Udder Jam!" Sue & Craig assembled a fine group of players, including Russ Hicks, Danny Hullihen, David Church & Teri Lisa, and that incredible force of nature known as Joe Wright!
Several players made very impressive first appearances at the Central Wisconsin Jam, and the hastily-assembled (due to last-moment unavailability of some "regulars") House Band proved to be superbly equal to the task!
The only bad thing is that it will be 52 weeks until the next one...........

Craig & Sue,
Thanks for another wonderful weekend. Everyone was great, as usual. In addition to the hard work that both of you put into organizing this event, we sometimes overlook the fact that Craig is an accomplished musician. Craig, you did an exceptional job, on both steel and guitar. Thanks to everyone. I'll be looking forward to next year.

Hats off to the Wisconsin Steel Show! Packed house all Saturday and great performances by Joe, Russ, David, and all the Midwest steelers. Even as important as the music was the opportunity to visit w/ old friends and new acquaintances. First Waterloo, then Wisconsin, and now the Quad Cities Show coming up on April 26! Mark your calendars for the 26th and make reservations at the Clarion Hotel in Davenport. See you all there for another outstanding show!

Thanks to everyone who attende and performed in Wisconsin rapids at our show! As usual, we had a riot. Things went extremely well considering the abscence of Roger Miller and Harry Lang, but Steve Nelson (guitar) was incredible and Mark Schultz (drums) saved the day with very little notice! Glenn Runnels on fiddle and Mark Wayne (Krutke) on bass and we were well set. Fantastic job, gentlemen!
Craig Davidson and Sue Hamilton had it planned so well there is little margin for error. They deserve all the credit, hands down.
Russ Hicks and Joe Wright were incredible, and you couldn't find two nicer people to work with. They make life easy with their lack of ego and attitude. If you haven't had them at your show do yourself a favor and give 'em a call. Joe's lovely new bride Connie was the surprise hit of the show with a voice as beautiful as she is. Even my 15 year-old says she's hot! Thanks, Connie.
David Church was on target as always and kindly joined us for our Gospel service Sunday morning which was hosted by Jamie & Jenny Smid. They are from the Waterloo, Iowa vicinity and Jamie has one of the most authentic bluegrass and Gospel voices to be found. Their new album will be available soon on CD Baby or just check with me. They sold out of advance cd's in about fifteen minutes. Wow!
Great players, great friends, great weekend. Now I need a great amount of sleep. Thank you all. My wife says I have to go now.

Wisconsin Dairy Show
It sure was a fantastic show this year for sure! Most of the time the hall was standing room only, and the response from the audience was phenominal!
As always, Craig and Sue were very well organized with everything, and the back up band was a steel players dream! They could handle anything you wanted to play, with no problems with anything, no matter how complex the arrangements were. Hospitality was second to none, both from Craig and Sue, and the entire staff. The sound crew was also fantastic, and were right there with anything you might need.
This show just keeps getting bigger and better every year, and this year the hall was filled to over capacity everyday!
My very sincere thanks to Craig Davidson and Sue Hamilton for a fantastic show and a really great time, and I'm looking forward to next year for sure!
