'97 Legrande 3 f/s----please close thanks

Post by Skip Cole »

Derby red (crimson?), D-10,8&5, Day s/u, counterforce on both necks, very good to excellent condition except for some vp scratches on the pedal bar, and a chip off the chrome on the rf leg. I bought it from Tim Bridges a little over a year ago and picked it up , didn't have it shipped. If the buyer lives within 200 miles of Memphis we can meet and save about $50-$60 shipping and a lot of anxiety. Shipping in Cont USA only. The case is a like new Thomas Cutom Anniv Model. The price is $3600 shipped or $3500 picked up. I tried to post pics but failed, i got all pics you need.
Thanks for lookin.

Legrande

Post by Doc Rickles »

I have set next to Tim when he owned this guitar and it was beautiful and awesome sounding. Boy what a buy. I'm overbought at the time or I might give it a shot. Prettiest guitar I have ever seen.

Doc, yeah Doc,it's my favorite color ,crimson Derby red. :D The s/c p/u's are my preference on my Emmons.
Hope to see you at Fulton Jam.

I edited my post on the Legrande 3 to add a couple of things.

Skip,

I just got in from LA and was checking on things here at the forum. f I had not bought that PP last week, I'd buy this guitar back. Fully loaded with the Counter force on both changers, compensators; you name it and it has it! BUT, the main thing it it has the tone. That's the prettiest red guitar I've ever seen. If the deal doesn't go through, I'm gonna be reaaly pressed to hold off. let me know Skip. Look forward to coming up and picking soon.

Well, the buyer has decided to go in a different direction so the steel is back on the block. I appreciate the inquiries but i can't take trades and the price is firm. Thanks to Tim and Tyler for the kind words.

Skip you really got a good looking steel, I hope it finds a loving family that will take care of it, as it is still a baby.

Wow! That LG111 is in amazing condition - it hardly looks played - and it's a '97!!!?
