Sierra Repertory Theatre in Sonora, California (www.sierrarep.org) is looking to hire immediately A STEEL GUITAR PLAYER for their production of HANK WILLIAMS: LOST HIGHWAY, a musical biography of the great Hank Williams.

The show is a musical biography of Hank and his bandmates. Featuring his huge catalog of music played live by actor/musicians. Looking for expert pedal steel guitar player, specializing in this type of music; singing on pitch and with others and ability to speak a few lines a plus.

The production goes into rehearsal on March 18 and runs April 11-June 8.

The pay is $ 3,500.00 + housing + $150 travel stipend (or possible r.t. air for non-CA players).

If you are AEA, a contract may be available (still pending).

The show is going to be directed by the author and original New York director, Randal Myler with musical direction by Travis Jones.

It will be performed at the historic Fallon House in Columbia, CA.

The show runs Wednesday-Sunday (6 performances total) with Mondays and Tuesdays always off.
