I know that Gerry Hogan won't mind me posting this to the forum, as he is currently away with Albert Lee on tour.
The British Festival will be held at the Clere School, Burghclere, Near Newbury, Berks on Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May 2002. Saturday from 2.00pm until 10.00pm and Sunday Noon until 8.00pm.
The main man will be Joe Wright but there will be a good selection of UK and European steel players both pedal and lap.
Cost UKP 25 per day, UKP 40 for the weekend if booked in advance (UKP 30 and UKP 50 on the day). Telephone UK 01635.37868 Hogan Music to reserve places.

I hear that Albert may be doing the steel show as an addendum to the current tour - it should be a great weekend!
I hope to make it, as it coincides with my first trip home to the UK in over three years.....

Yes Albert Lee with Hogan's Heroes (Gerry Hogan) are playing Sunday (2pm to 3.30pm). Joe Wright is scheduled for Saturday (2-2.45pm and 9.00-10.00pm) and Sunday 6.00 to 8.15pm). B.J.Cole is on Saturday (8.00 - 8.45pm)

According to Sarah's web site, she is in the UK this week and Guernsey next week with no gig this weekend. Perhaps she will be there?
As far as I am aware, Albert and Gerry have finished their tour and Albert is now out with Bill Wyman. |
