I've only been playing for a few months and I am having a hard time figuring it out.

Josh, a lot of what you're hearing is on the 15th fret with the A pedal engaged for the Em, the AB pedals engaged for the C, and no pedals for the root chord, G. (There is a D in the chord structure, but on the steel it's usually obscured in the C lick.) It's mostly done on the 3rd and 5th strings. You'll find it. The licks are fairly simple. The feel is what's hard to nail in Ben Keith's playing.
I don't know how to post tab.

Heart of Gold
This is a nice song to start with.
Almost everything is just simple chord back up.
However the refrain after "heart of gold" is smiply done by rocking on the A pedal in Em and sounds awesome!

I've just been told to learn this song. I quite like the following way of playing the chord progression:-
Em - A pedal, 15th fret; C - A/F, 11th fret; D - A/F, 13th fret; G - A/B, 10th fret
and then on 4 & 6 with the F lever:- O 15; F 11; O 10; F 6
Em - A pedal, 15th fret; C - A/F, 11th fret; D - A/F, 13th fret; G - A/B, 10th fret
and then on 4 & 6 with the F lever:- O 15; F 11; O 10; F 6
