Joe's new CD "perennial Sideman" is FANTASTIC. I think it's one of the best steel CDs I've heard in years. The range of styles covers everything from blues to dixieland to old-timey, to Hawaiian, to Irish to rock to R&B and funk.

It's on my CD player as I write this.

Joe is a good player. He's extremely versatile, playing pedal and lap steels, and dobro as well! And for all those different acts! Bet Joe and Tommy White could tell some war stories!
