Yesterday evening I played a gig (all lap steel - Weissenborn and Dobro) here in Brighton, an event for a charity called The Cambodia Trust in a small venue. The atmosphere and the audience were great, and I wanted to share a song from the gig with you:

You can also hear the FAT sound from the Lazy River through a combination of the K&K Pure Western Mini pickup and an SM57 mic.
It seems everyone loves lap steel when they hear it - strange that not more people over here play it!
Have a good day!

I use a K&K Pure Western + Baggs Para Acoustic on my regular acoustic along with an SM57 and get excellent results as well.

Thanks everyone! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I really enjoyed the gig!
Eric - you're in for a treat! My Lazy River just keeps sounding better and better and I have not for one second regretted chosing a Lazy River as my Weissenborn-style guitar!
