Had a client wanting the song without lead vocal and an acoustic so he could sing/play along. Spent a few hours in my studio recreating all the parts/mix/EQ/comp, etc. Lots of fun recreating Jerry's steel putting it thru my early 70's twin instead of my Nash 400. Very quirky. Some things I didn't know before doing. The bass is the only instrument tuned to A440. Everything else is a few cents sharp. The G chord (IV) is played by at least 1 acoustic as I G7th.

I love it. Nice playing. I think you nailed the sound, for sure. What kind of PSG are you using on that one?

That's my Derby D-10. Could have gotten steel part closer but not a big budget for song and didn't want to go too nuts. Funny too was, because song was a little out of tune, I recorded each part only listening to original track, never to what I was tracking. When I was done with all parts I muted original and there it was. Weird!
