I just caught the tail end of the show and it looked like a Sho-Pro to me.

A friend sent me a photo of Tommy's new blue flame maple guitar... it's a Show Pro. Pickups look like 710's.

And a very much deserved "thumbs up" for sure. Tommy White is absolutely amazing, no matter who he's backing, and regardless of what brand of steel he's playing. It's all good!

The song "Buttermilk John" was written for PaPa John and Tommy did himself proud on his solo.
It was played with lots of emotion !

In an effort to clarify the question of "what kind of guitar was Tommy playing" it was a Show Pro. However, Tommy also still likes and uses his new MSA as well. The television employers prefer that he leaves a guitar on the set and in place during the taping seasons, which is why you might see different guitars being used sometimes. Needless to say, Tommy has a lot of basis to cover, and he's one of the busiest guys in the industry, and of course, having only one guitar would never see him through it all. That blue Show Pro is indeed beautiful!

It doesn't get much better than Tommy White. I saw the show and it was wonderful. My kind of stuff. Vince and Lorrie are just awesome. Tommy's Show-Pro sounded great. I hope this show runs for a long time. Bobby

I had a chance to watch the show tonight.Tommy played this song with so much feeling, absolutely beautiful. He not only play's the "Hot Licks" as good as anyone, and better than most, but he play's the slower ballads with so much emotion.I'm so glad I had a chance to see the show.Truly a very nice tribute to John,by both Tommy and Vince.
The ShowPro sounded very nice also,I'd like to know if it had the BL 710's in it.I put a BL 710 on the E9th neck of my Derby today and it sounds really good.

Fortunately for TW he is very busy, unfortunately for us we don't get much chance to see him OPEN up in an informal environment. Our loss. To my ears when he digs in, he is hard to keep up with, whatever your name may be.
